Graves ruined
KUMI — Unknown people last week vandalised a graveyard of the ancestors of the district council chairman, Ismael Orot. The graveyard in Kodokoto in Mukongoro sub-county was vandalised on Wednesday. Mackay Otukur and his sons, Musa Ogwapit, Joseph Okello and Dan Odeke have been arrested over the incident.

GULU — The district council chairman, Lt. Col. Walter Ochora, has asked LRA field commanders not to obey orders issued by LRA chief Joseph Kony to kill their colleagues. Ochora said Kony had ordered commanders Matata and Otti to kill rebel commander Makac and the Acholi. He also asked them to kill over 1,200 people, 600 of them in Kamdini and Minakulu in Apac.
