Kampala town clerk Gordon Mwesigye is back in office, The New Vision learnt over the weekend.
District speaker Sarah Ssebagala recently said the council would soon convene to discuss Mwesigye’s interdiction.
Mwesigye was not available for comment.
Simon Muhumuza, the public relations officer, confirmed that Mwesigye had reported to office on Monday.
“Yes, the town clerk is back in office. He came back to Kampala over the weekend,†Muhumuza said.
