SAM Ssimbwa believes determination and good character will help him crack even better club after being sacked by KCC Football Club.

Ssimbwa (photo) had been tipped to deputise Danish Jan Fray at KCC but his dreams were shattered when he was sacked last week.

“I strongly believe I will get an even better club soon. You don’t ever expect to automatically earn a job that easy. I don’t think you can ever say you have done enough to be guaranteed that no matter how well you think you are,” said Ssimbwa.

“There are a number of factors for one to take anything for granted and you have to bounce back from setbacks and I will. But I was very disappointed by KCC and will need to rest for some time”.

And if Ssimbwa had any misplaced reservations he only needs to look to at the demise of fellow mate Mike Mutebi, who once earned glowing praise but only to be sacked by KCC in 1997 and recently by Simba.

“Of course am aware of what happened to Mike. Personally I thought he was a good manager. But you only have to show strength and character. It’s at times a puzzle on how executives take decisions”.

Ssimbwa has not allowed to be overtaken by such developments. He has already revealed of offers coming his way.

“I have received many offers and will only consider taking up any after sometime.”
