LEAGUE sponsors Nile Breweries have offered Katumwa Sports Centre a tender to supply jerseys and footballs to the 15 teams competing in this seasonâ€™s Nile Special Super league.
According to David Katumwa the proprietor of Katumwa Sports Centre, Nile Breweries official David Nsiyona wrote to him on Tuesday announcing how he had won the tender to supply league teams with kit and balls.
Katumwa Sports Centre beat six other sports wear dealers to the tender.
â€œI am leaving on Christmas eve for England to make sure the clubs get their attire with club inscriptions early January,â€ said Katumwa who declined to disclose the bid offer.
The center has three sports wear suppliers in England; Adidas, Nike and Reebok.
Each club is to be supplied with two pairs of jerseys.
The center also intends to stock attire in clubs colours for sale to fans European style.
Clubs have not been comfortable with the quality of jerseys imported by Nile Breweries from South Africa for the five years the Nile Special Super League contract has been on.
Katumwa awarded NSSL kit deal
