ALI Tomusange’s World Cup dreams are soon becoming a reality, reports Norman Katende.The Ugandan assistant referee who is currently officiating in the Africa Nations Cup in Mali is among the officials invited for a World Cup match officials seminar in Seoul March 20-23.This follows his selection as an assistant referee to the world’s biggest football tournament due in Korea/Japan in May.The seminar is organised and sponsored by FIFA with a main aim of having the best officiation in the tournament.“They are meeting all the costs,” said FUFA general secretary Haruna Mawanda yesterday.In Mali, Tomusange will today officiate a group B match between Burkina Faso and Morocco. It will be the Ugandan’s second appearance in the same tournament. His first was during the same group’s opening match between Burkina Faso and South Africa on Sunday.
