UTV agony

The excitement created by press reports that Uganda Television (UTV) clinched a deal with TV Africa to telecast the African Cup of Nations soccer matches live, turned into disappointment Thursday for Mbale fans. They cursed the Kampala based station UTV that continued with their normal programmes without any mention about soccer. There was however excitement last evening when the Egypt versus Tunisia match finally came on air. Fans said they have now forgiven UTV.ends
