By Douglas Mazune MOTORSPORT could become a water sport as well come October.Fraternity Motor Club (FMC) ‘the club with a difference’ hopes to take the sport to Lake Victoria.FMC is considering staging the first ever ‘Tour of Uganda’ on Ssese Islands.FMC president Andy Kigozi on Thursday said the club has already assessed the roads on the islands ahead of the unique event due October.“You won’t believe it, the roads on Ssese Islands are good. There is no traffic but we are still looking at the logistics of ferrying cars to there,” Kigozi clad in his trademark shorts said at the launch of the club’s 2002 activities.Kigozi said FMC would take the rally meant for 4x4 wheel drive cars to Fort Portal if they fail to transport cars to the Ssese.“Those are the options we have for the ‘Tour of Uganda’,” Kigozi said.ends
