Luweero War Debt Lists Distributed

By Frederick KiwanukaTHE long awaited distribution of the Luweero war debt lists finally kicked off Saturday morning with four vehicles deployed to cover the 24 districts in the former Luweero Triangle.Each of the vehicles will cover a different section of the triangle.A highly placed source in the Luweero Triangle ministry said the lists would be delivered to the chief administrative officers at the various district headquarters who would in turn distribute the lists to the sub-counties.The source said four officials of the war debt verification committee: Hajji Edrisa Seddunga, Lt. Sula Serunjogi, Capt. Kaye and Lt. Col. Tumwesigye, would effect the distribution of the lists.The Luweero Triangle minister, Tim Lwanga, on Thursday told journalists that the war debt which initially stood at sh6b had been reduced to sh2b.Ends
