MBARARA – Bishop Elisha Kyamugambi of East Ankole Diocese has urged parents to stop demanding dowry from their daughters’ suitors. He said the practice erodes the value of love and respect which is the backbone of all good marriages. Kyamugambi told The New Vision on Wednesday that some parents demean their daughters by haggling with suitors on the bridewealth before they can bless their marriage.Ends
