YOUTH elections in Nangabo sub-county on Tuesday came to a standstill for about an hour as two people suspected of being impostors were arrested.

By Edith KimuliYOUTH elections in Nangabo sub-county on Tuesday came to a standstill for about an hour as two people suspected of being impostors were arrested.Isma Kyobe had turned up to vote at the sub-county headquarters at about 2:00pm, but was arrested after he failed to say the name of his LCI chairman.“He came and said he was from Nalusukka and claimed that his name was Elik Tenywa, but could not tell us the name of the his chairman,” a polling official said. The official said Kyobe said to be a supporter of Alex Kubulwa, tried to escape but was arrested.Juliet Nakiryowa was arrested at about 3:30pm as she allegedly tried to vote when she was not on the register.Ends
