Help the less fortunate, says Kadaga

DEPUTY Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga has called upon Ugandans to adopt a culture of donating to save the lives of the less fortunate.

By Abubaker Mukose in Jinja DEPUTY Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga has called upon Ugandans to adopt a culture of donating to save the lives of the less fortunate.Kadaga was on Saturday officiating at the installation dinner dance for the Rotary Club of the Source of the Nile at Gim Khana Club in Jinja, where Benon Kwikiriza was enthroned new president.“Rotary in this country has a great future. It is looked at as a way of saving the lives of the less fortunate people and it is my humble appeal that we recruit more people to increase its membership,” she said.Kadaga said, the current 1.2 million membership needed to be improved upon and pledged her support to Rotary activities. “Through voluntarism, certain sectors of people benefit directly,” Kadaga, said.Kwikiriza pledged to increase club membership.
