ROBERT Kisubi has emphasised that discipline will be the yardstick for selecting the final national team for the Africa Cricket Associations (ACA) championships slated for September 1-8 in Harare Zambia.

By Ronnie Kintu ROBERT Kisubi has emphasised that discipline will be the yardstick for selecting the final national team for the Africa Cricket Associations (ACA) championships slated for September 1-8 in Harare Zambia.“Discipline is a key element for any good cricketing side that wishes to get on top and the Ugandan players know this,” said Kisubi.The national squad is undergoing intensive drills at Lugogo oval under the auspices of national coach, Andrew Meya.Meya revealed to The New Vision that fitness and the current form of the players would further determine who makes the squad.He ruled out the aspect of selection based on past form.Many players have however shown no improvement in the batting department contemplating on the trial matches played every Saturday at Lugogo.
