KAMPALA — The controversial NGO, Caring for Orphans, Widows and Elderly (COWE), which was stopped from operating on April 4, was sabotaged by one of its director, Anthony Kasajja, after he was denied a sh10m loan.

KAMPALA — The controversial NGO, Caring for Orphans, Widows and Elderly (COWE), which was stopped from operating on April 4, was sabotaged by one of its director, Anthony Kasajja, after he was denied a sh10m loan. Aggrieved members told defence and internal affairs committee that Kasajja formed a rival NGO, Promote-Uganda. COWE Secretary Pius Kyagaba led officials invited by the MPs to explain the NGO’s woes.Ends
