The defending champions whitewashed struggling Saracens at Kampala Club over the weekend.Scrum-half and captain for the side, Arinaitwe, gave the Boks an early lead that suggested a possible one sided game as his team humiliated the opponents 75-00.Sensational Robert Byabasaija ensured two tries as Charles Wadira, Vincent Otim and Steven Ogwete among others combined efforts to pile 13 tries and five conversions infront of the opponents who could not find a way through a cast iron Boks defence. At Entebbe, one of the games was interrupted as the pitch was turned into a boxing ring when the Buffaloes and Mongers put aside the ball to start flexing after 40 minutes.Referee Charles Mungoma called off the match. Uganda Rugby Football Union is carrying out investigations for disciplinary action.Meanwhile, the national team and the under-21 squad are continuing with intensive drills ahead of the Confederation of Africa Rugby match against Cameroon next month in Kampala.“There is great improvement among players. A strong team would be in place by game time,” said national coach Yayiro Kasasa.Ends
