The often-volatile Warriors kept their cool, while the normally levelheaded Falcons lost theirs. Tony Oluka led Warriors to an unlikely 41-39 victory over Falcons on Sunday.
Oluka scored 17 points on 9-of-26 shooting as Warriors overwhelmed Falcons.
“That was obviously a real nice win for us,” Oluka said adding that; “I thought our crowd was unbelievable. They were active all evening.”
Trevor Ogwang added 7 points for Warriors, whose defeat of the Falcons has been the first in a long period of the basketball league.
Warriors who last led just a little over three minutes into the second quarter and trailed by as many as 7 points, cut the lead to a 38 all tie in the last three minutes of the game.
