Soldiers on murder case

BUSHENYI — The Grade One magistrate, Casey Byaruhanga, on Monday charged three UPDF soldiers and four game rangers with robbery and murder. Prosecutor Amos Mpaka said on October 9, Stephen Okol, Magoma Zamurango and Juliana Kirama, all from the 59th battalion, waylaid a pick-up truck, killed three people and robbed them of sh1m and a mobile phone. The game rangers were identified as Benjamin Tushabe, Godfrey Agwara, Robert Mugabe and DJ Amuzah.
