MBALE — The UPDF on Saturday mounted a search for three Karimojong warriors who robbed sh5m and a satellite telephone from an engineer working with the Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN) on the Lorengedwat-Moroto road.
Museveni is expected
LIRA — President Yoweri Museveni is expected to commission the Corner Aputi Water Supplies Works in Kyoga county, Lira next month.
This was announced recently by the regional water engineer, Robert Kilama, while briefing the chief administrative officer, Dan Odwedo.
UPDF kills 8 warriors
KOTIDO — Eight warriors were on Friday killed in a fight with UPDF and LDU personnel near Namalu trading centre. The early morning clash took place just behind Namalu Girls Primary School where the warriors were allegedly mobilising to attack an LDU detachment.
