SHAFFIQUE Kayongo, seeking his title of the season, is one of the men to watch at the Yakobo pool Cup action resuming today. Kayongo faces Ben John in a second round match at Yakobo Joint in Ntinda. The Yakobo Joint sponsored tournament is due to end on November 24. In the first round, Kayongo easily beat Sam Sonko 3-1.

Uganda gets
UGANDA is one of the recipients of CECAFA and Johns Hopkins University joint campaign on Reproductive Health in sports and HIV/Aids in East and Central Africa. The club championships in Kampala in January will be the launch pad for the programme that will entail training of coaches and players.

URA ground
URA football club’s bid for top-flight league soccer has forced the side into registering Namboole as its home ground for the Nile Special Super League. The new season starts on November 23. The National Football League Committee asked all premier league clubs to name their grounds not later than November 12.

Game Boys!
NEWLY promoted Games Boys Football Club desperately needs sh70m as they prepare for the 15-team Nile Special Super League which kicks off on November 23. Games Boys earned promotion last month following a successful petition to the National Football League Committee against Sironko Rangers.
