DESPITE the off-field distractions, Express tactician Leo Adraa will not be down-hearted in securing the best from his five-month contract with the club.

“I don’t have to convince any body, certainly not, that I care about the club and want to work hard. The nature of football means that you are going to come under pressure.

It is something you have to learn to live with. I have a specified period to prove it,” he said.

And Adraa, just discovering the brutal realities of being manager at a top club, believes the best start into the new season will stop the wave of panic sweeping through the club.

“I know the fans are starting to think its going to be another of those bad seasons. I have had extreme views but the best will come. My job will be to win. I will give it my maximum.”

Express last had its ultimate kiss to the league crown in 1996 and it’s easy to understand why the fans are talking about a must-win season.

However, it is to the effect of the elective general assembly meeting slated for December 15 that the fans’ requisitions for a modified administration will be accomplished.
