KAMPALA — A senior Police officer in charge of of transfers and manpower at the Central Police Station, Emmy Nkurunungi Gonya, was yesterday charged with embezzling sh6.51m.

KAMPALA — A senior Police officer in charge of of transfers and manpower at the Central Police Station, Emmy Nkurunungi Gonya, was yesterday charged with embezzling sh6.51m. Gonya is said to have diverted monthly revenue from Police guarding services to his personal use. He denied the charge before Buganda Road Court Magistrate Charles Serubuga.
