UGANDA champions SC Villa were a force to reckon with both on the local and international scene. Villa, who had finished runners-up in the CAF in 1992, ejected the Burundi club thanks to the heroics of goal keeper Mike Mukasa. Villa have been drawn with another Burundian club Muzinga FC in the African Champions League. They clash in February 2003.
