KAGOMA county MP Dr. Frank Nabwiso has lashed out at the people opposed to the Busoga People’s Charter.
Nabwiso told a public debate on the authenticity of the People’s Charter organised by the local Radio NBS at Silver Touch in Jinja recently that the critics were self-seekers trying to confuse the public.
He said the Charter would check the risk of some districts breaking off from Busoga region to join alien districts.
But the critics of the Charter, led by lawyer, F. Munulo, expressed fear for the Kyabazinga, saying the Charter would undermine his traditional authority.
