Blood donation week

By Vision Reporter BLOOD donation week at Constitutional Square is in full swing. Begun on January 8, the donation drive will continue until today, January 15. The blood donation week was organised by the Uganda Blood Transfusion Service (UBTS), in collaboration with the Uganda Red Cross Society. UBTS said blood stocks are running low as a result of the holiday season and the Ebola epidemic. They hoped the drive would help end the shortages. Ends.
