Awori promises to dismantle protected camps

PRESIDENTIAL candidate and Samia Bugwe North MP Aggrey Awori has promised the people of Acholi that he will dismantle protected camps, reports Justin Moro. Awori said he would talk to Sudanese President el-Bashir, Joseph Kony of the Lord's Resistance Army, and John Garang's Sudanese People's Liberation Army to restore lasting peace to the Acholi sub-region. Awori told a large and excited crowd at the Gulu Kaunda Grounds on Monday, "Our trip to State House will never be stopped by Museveni or Col. Kizza Besigye, who think money is more important. We shall not go to State House because it is a better place to live in, but to work for Uganda." Ends.
