Ruhama, Ntungamo schools excelling

By Ebenezer T. Bifubyeka in Mbarara MR. Augustine Ruzindana, Member of Parliament for Ruhama County, Ntungamo district, has said education is doing very well in the district. "My district, and the county in particular, has developed tremendously in Museveni's regime, especially in the education sector." Speaking to journalists in Mbarara recently, Ruzindana said: "Almost all schools in Ruhama are doing very well and are on national footing." In 1988, he said, Makerere University had 40 students from Ntungamo district, but now has 150. "Rukoni Primary School was one of the best in the 1999 PLE," he said. Ends.
