Cops Hold Six

By Catherine Kigozi THE Police yesterday arrested six people, including women, in connection with the theft of 103 bags of cement. The suspects allegedly broke into the Roko Construction store at Crested Towers on Wednesday and stole the cement worth sh1.5m. The Jinja Road Police Station officer in-charge, Joseph Katuramu, said the thieves are believed to have connived with Roko workers. "It's not yet clear whether they stole only cement. We are still investigating the matter," he said. He said the suspects were arrested at Kazinga, near Bweyogerere, with 72 bags of cement. Ends
