PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni has commended the people of Jinja for their support to him, reports Esther Mukyala. Mr Charles Sendegeya, the new deputy Jinja Resident District Commissioner, said this at Christ's Cathedral Bugembe last Sunday. He told worshippers that Museveni was happy with the support he had received form Jinja since he assumed power in 1986. Sendegeya, a born-again Christian, said, "I am here to preach the Gospel and to look for votes for Museveni. Hallelujah." He asked how presidential candidate Col. Kizza Besigye would run the army yet he could not keep army secrets. The service was also attended by the Jinja Movement task force vice-chairman, Mr Richard Gulume. Ends
