FOOTBALL referees will get new skills at four refresher courses coming ahead of the league season. The referees will also be exposed to cooper and promotional tests at the courses starting Saturday.

The referees will also be exposed to cooper and promotional tests at the courses starting Saturday. The courses will prepare referees for the Nile Special Super League, the first and second division events. The super league kicks off on March 15. FUFA referees standing committee chairman Wilson Tumwine, said the programme starts with courses in Mbarara and Kampala on Saturday and Sunday. The Mbarara course covering western region will be held at Kakyeka stadium. The course for central region is set for Old Kampala SSS. Referees in eastern region will converge at Mbale stadium while those in northern region will be at Lira technical institute March 3-4. Ends
