Kapchorwa- The Adolescent Health Promotion Project on sexual and reproductive health was launched at Kapchorwa Teachers Resource Centre recently. Dr Esther Aceng, WHO programme manager sexual and reproductive health said adolescent boys and girls become sexually active at about12 to 13 years old, without preparation about sexuality and contraception. She added that by the age 15, 56% of them have had regular, often unprotected, pre-marital sex. Ends
