AT least sh62b has been set aside to modernise agriculture in Masindi district, David Wanzala, Vice-president of Uganda National Farmer's Association has said.

By Kyetume Kasanga AT least sh62b has been set aside to modernise agriculture in Masindi district, David Wanzala, Vice-president of Uganda National Farmer's Association has said. Wanzala was on Friday addressing the fourth assembly of Masindi District Farmers Association at the Farmers' Resource Centre. He said the money would be managed by the sub-counties in the district. Wanzala said this was under the second phase of the plan to modernise agriculture launched by Vice-president Speciosa Wandera Kazibwe in Mukono last year. Wanzala urged the delegates to demand for effective services at the sub-counties, saying it should be demand driven. Ends
