Court Orders Police Boss To Produce UPDF Soldier

By Hillary Nsambu THE High Court has ordered the Regional Police Commander, Kampala Extra and the Attorney General to produce in court, a UPDF soldier, Corporal Ausi Mudebo, on Wednesday and say why he was being detained without trial. Justice V.T. Zekurikize issued the order last Wednesday after an application by Charles Dalton Opwonya, the lawyer for Mudebo, that Mudebo be produced. Mrs Mudebo, in an affidavit, said Mudebo was being illegally detained at CPS Kampala since his arrest on February 20. Ends
