NGO Constructs 9 Wells

Busoga Trust, a non-governmental organisation working under the Busoga Diocese water and sanitation sector, has constructed nine hand-dug wells in Buwaaya sub-county, Mayuge district, reports Esther Mukyala. The project manager, Frederick Bangu, said this during a one-day training workshop for the residents held at Buwaaya sub-county on Tuesday. The wells constructed at a cost of sh26m have benefited 200 families many of whom had been walking a distance of two kilometres to collect water from un-protected springs. Ends
