By Leo Kabunga THE National Football League Committee (NFLC) has dismissed Mbale Heroes claims that Black Rhino fielded unregistered player Abbey Kavuma in a Nile Special Super league match on April 8 in Lira. Heroes filed a case against Rhino claiming the Northern Uganda team fielded Kavuma, with no licence, and former Heroes player Nelson Opio, who is not released. NFLC secretary Raphael Ouma Bwire yesterday said Kavuma's licence had been processed. He said that although Mbale has said that Opio had been dismissed from the club, the player had not been released to play for Black Rhino this season. He said that if Black Rhino proves that Opio was dismissed from Mbale Heroes without informing NFLC, the case will be thrown out in favour of the accused. Ends
