By Douglas Mazune FORMER national champion Moses Lumala returns to his Toyota Celica ST185 in the Shell rally next month with a mission to sweep three NRC rallies. Lumala who slipped to fourth position on the NRC table in a less powerful Toyota Celica ST 165 since his Toyota Celica ST 185 crashed in March has vowed to make strong comeback. "I will be back in the (Celica) ST 185 in the Shell rally and I will go for nothing short of a win in the remaining rallies," Lumala said. "I am still in contention for the championship. I don't know whether they will beat me but I want to win at least three rallies." The Caltex sponsored 1999 champion will travel to Kenya next week where he will purchase a car body from Kenyan rally ace Jonathan Toroitich. Meanwhile Simba Telecom rally winner Charlie Lubega Monday night donated his glittering trophy to his new sponsor TOTAL Uganda. He handed over the trophy to TOTAL's Moses Mudima amidst cheers from the audience. Chipper Adams and his co-driver Justin Beyendeza who dropped out of the rally were handed trophies for the Jimmy Dean and George Bitature memorial sections. r Ford driver Carlos Sainz will be fit to take part in the Cyprus Rally May 31-June 3 , his team confirmed on Monday. The former world champion driver had been hampered by a back injury throughout the four days of the Rally of Argentina at the beginning of May. He overcame the injury to finish an astonishing third behind team-mate Colin McRae and fellow championship rival Richard Burns. Medical specialists confirmed that the 39-year-old Spaniard's disc injury is not as serious as first thought and Sainz has already been given the go ahead to compete in next month's Cypriot event, round six of the FIA World Rally Championship. Following the first part of his physiotherapy treatment, Sainz said: "It feels much better than it did during the rally". Ends
