There was no nomination for the Busia District Woman MP candidates yesterday as the two aspirants opted to be nominated today, reports Abraham Odeke.

There was no nomination for the Busia District Woman MP candidates yesterday as the two aspirants opted to be nominated today, reports Abraham Odeke. The two aspirants are Kevina Taaka and Rose Munyira. The third aspirant, Getrude Wejuli, who was expected to be nominated yesterday decided to pull out of the race. She wrote to the Returning Officer, Collins Dombo, about her decision. Tororo district had Kezia Ochwo Nyakecho, Dorothy Hyuha, and Eriesi Awori Othieno. Long processions of vehicles and boda-boda riders escorting them for the nomination. Meanwhile, Columban Oloka was on Tuesday nominated for for Budama South. Stephen Ongaria who had been expected to submit nomination papers for Tororo Municipality did not show up. Ends
