By Richards Osinde Former Kampala Mayor, Nasser Sebaggala has said, the popularity of the Uganda Young Democrats candidate Kezaala Baswari for the Jinja Municipality West parliamentary seat, out-matches the rest of the contenders. Speaking at the launching of Baswari's manifesto at a function held at Mpumudde-Kimaka division offices, on Saturday, Sebaggala said, "The influence and solidarity that we have with the ordinary people will make the rest of the candidates lose. We shall use our influence to mobilise votes for Kezaala," Sebaggala said. He boasted that because of his influence, President Yoweri Museveni had to spend sh13b on his campaign, a figure five times more than what he spent in the 1996 presidential elections. Other candidates are Lt. Col. Tony Otoa, Michael Kasedde and Harry Kasigwa. Ends
