1,500 To Miss Polls

MBALE - About 1,500 voters in the troubled Kilayi parish, Bufumbo sub- county may miss voting today. The district registrar, Jimmy Musimbi, told The New Vision yesterday a group of villagers chased him away with the election materials last week. "I went to the area accompanied by a Police officer to deliver registers and voters cards but the villagers said they wanted their parish to appear under Buteza sub-county in Sironko district instead of Bufumbo in Mbale" he said.
