Jammers, Jackets suffer loses

MIRACLE and Makerere University Livingstone Hall registered upsets against league giants Blue Jackets and Sky Jammers in the FUBA classic league at the weekend.

Miracle's forward Moses Wasswa destroyed Blue Jackets with a season high 42 points, as his side shocked the giants at Makerere pool court. Miracle, morale boosted by the return of star player, Chris Kyebambe out classed a full strength Blue Jackets. At the same venue, Sky Jammers succumbed to a strong comeback by Livingstone to crash to their fourth defeat. Livingstone's Sam Obol hit a game high 38 points and Martin Okello chipped in six as the students upstaged high riding Sky Jammers. Jammers' star Norman Blick who showed up late and took to the court in the third quarter could not help matters. Reeling from the defeats Jackets hammered Livingstone 101-80 at YMCA Wandegeya while Sky Jammers edged Miracle by a point Sunday. Kololo Bush Court led by Donald Wekesa defeated Flamers in their own backyard to register a second consecutive victory.
