FUFA secretary Godfrey Kisekka announced that Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania would be implementing an East African Community soccer pact that will see the three play at independence celebrations. "We had a convention of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania and signed an agreement to have our national teams spice up the independence celebrations for each country. It starts this year," said Kisekka. The three will gather in Dodoma on December 9 for Tanzania's Day then December 12 in Nairobi to celebrate Kenya's Uhuru Day. - CONFEDERATION of Africa Football (CAF) has extended another referees' high level course to Uganda July 18 to 24 in Kampala. FUFA secretary Kisekka yesterday said different courses have been held in Uganda because of close working relations with the continental body. "Our close working relationship and high commitment in improving the standard of the game has won us assistance in different disciplines," Kisekka said. CAF course director Tesfaye Gebriyesus will conduct the course. Kisekka said that a similar Meridian Project course will be held from July 26 to 30.
