Thief ‘steals’ snake

A wheel barrow pusher in Lira municipality recently got the shock of his life when he found a snake in the luggage he had stolen. When the bus from Kitgum arrived, Odyek grabbed the bags of a passenger who looked well to do. The man was still greeting a friend and Odyek disappeared with his bags. He ran off to his home, locked himself in the house and opened one of the bags. He was shocked beyond words when a huge snake slithered from the bag! Odyek screamed and jumped through the window. Neighbours who had come to rescue him, took to their heels when they saw the serpent which however, mysteriously disappeared later on. Odyek was advised to make a sacrifice to avoid trouble. ends
