Parents cautioned on early child marriages

The LC3 chairperson of Goma sub-county, Mukono district, has cautioned parents against marrying off their daughters at an early age, writes Vision Reporter. Beatrice Iga was addressing residents of Nsabwe village, on Friday. She blamed parents who had neglected their children and denied them necessities like education and decent clothing. Iga said the sub-county had taken the initiative of championing children’s rights through encouraging child education. She condemned child molestation and called on the police to apprehend the culprits.
