KAMPALA – Parliament yesterday had a two weeks break to enable committees finalise work on ministry policy statements on time for budget debates.

KAMPALA – Parliament yesterday had a two weeks break to enable committees finalise work on ministry policy statements on time for budget debates. The committees will now sit in the mornings and afternoons, unlike the usual arrangement where they convene only in the morning and join the plenary in the afternoon. Parliament spokesman Kagole Kivumbi said the break was to enable the committees come up with better recommendations. Ends
