Man held over wife's murder

By Emmanuel Mulondo THE police in Kyenjojo have arrested a man who allegedly killed and buried his wife secretly. The Kyenjojo district police commander, Mr. Gaston Bashobora said over the weekend that Joseph Katuramu was arrested after his own confession. Police said Katuramu quarreled and fought with his wife, Anasthasia Muhankusi on July 20. Katuramu is said to have battered the woman, inflicting a deep wound on her head which later caused her death. The accused, with help from three friends allegedly buried the deceased secretly in Katuramu's compound. The three people who allegedly helped Katuramu bury his wife were identified as Arinaitwe, Charles Bamuturaki and Kamadi Ruhunga.
