Arua commissions sh110m bridge

By Dawin Dawa THE Arua LC5 chairman, Alex Jurua, last week commissioned Ayi bridge on Oleba-Simbili road reconstructed by the district local council at a cost of sh110m. Jurua said this was the seventh bridge he had commissioned in his four-year administration. He said he had initiated many infrastructure developments in his term of office. Jurua urged residents to work hard and use the bridges and other facilities to fight poverty and improve on their living standards. The district executive engineer, Mr. Lawrence Pario, advised residents to utilise the bridge to promote trade and improve on agriculture. Jurua thanked president Yoweri Museveni for developing and re-organising Uganda’s economy. Ayi bridge was constructed by K.G Adubango Contractors.
