By Egessa Hajusu THE Samia Bugwe North Member of Parliament, Aggrey Awori, recently asked members of his constituency to elect people who support his political ideologies in the forthcoming local council elections. “Charity, they say, begins at home. The earlier the better. I have to do it because Museveni did it in the just concluded parliamentary elections,” Awori said. He was addressing his campaign agents from five sub-counties in his constituency at Busia Secondary School. Awori said he was opposed to the view that people should stand on merit, and urged his cadres to watch closely the movement sympathisers, whom he feared might have an upper hand in the elections. He said he was willing to reconcile with his former rivals in the elections.
