THE Vice-President, Dr. Speciosa Kazibwe, returns today from Britain where she underwent a successful operation.

By Richard Mutumba THE Vice-President, Dr. Speciosa Kazibwe, returns today from Britain where she underwent a successful operation. Martin Lagara, her principal private secretary, said Kazibwe will arrive at Entebbe at 7:00am aboard British Airways. “I spoke to her this morning. She is fine and leaves London tonight. She will therefore be in Entebbe tomorrow morning (today),” Lagara said. Kazibwe was operated upon on July 28 at Highgate Private Hospital and was discharged on August 4, but stayed over in London for post-operation observation. Prof. Francis Omaswa, the director general of health services, said this week that Kazibwe had recovered and was due to return soon. Kazibwe, who who is also the MP for Kigulu South county, has been away for about two months, left soon after being re-appointed Vice-President for a second term. Ends
