Bishop warns on corruption

THE Bishop of Mukono diocese, Michael Senyimba, has told politicians to refrain from corruption, saying that the Church will fight it.

By Nicholas Kajoba THE Bishop of Mukono diocese, Michael Senyimba, has told politicians to refrain from corruption, saying that the Church will fight it. Senyimba was addressing residents of Namuyenje parish in a church service on Sunday. He told parents to instil moral values in their children so that they become responsible people. “We need to instil discipline in the young ones so they grow up as responsible citizens,” he said. Senyimba also decried the high number of traditional healers found guilty of murder and defilement.
