Apac voters advised

Lira RDC Joseph Arwata has asked Movement supporters in Apac to support Benon Ogwang Ochoo, the aspiring candidate for Apac LC5 seat, reports Ali Mao. Arwata told The New Vision in Lira recently that he was consulting his counterpart in Apac, Charles Opio Akome, to agree on a Movement candidate. “If I were to contest against a staunch multipartyist Ben Olwa for Apac LC5 seat, the Movement would have a walk-over,” Arwata said. Movementist in Apac had earlier wanted to endorse Arwata to tussle it out with the multiparty stalwart Olwa but Arwata declined in favour of Ogwang.
