Students to miss exams

OVER 30 senior four students of Royal Ranges Secondary School in Kilembe sub-county, Kasese district will miss their O Level examinations after failing to register with the Uganda National Examinations Board.

By John Nzinjah OVER 30 senior four students of Royal Ranges Secondary School in Kilembe sub-county, Kasese district will miss their O Level examinations after failing to register with the Uganda National Examinations Board. The headmaster, Ronald Kiiza, and the bursar, Johnson Bimawa, were arrested on allegations that they swindled the students’ exams registration fees worth over sh1.9m. The Kasese CID chief, Erastus Byekwaso, confirmed the arrests. The affected students went on strike on Thursday when they learnt that they would not sit their final examinations.
