Chicken vendor wins bicycle in Orumuri promotion

A chicken vendor at Mpanga market in Fort Portal town on Friday won a bicycle worth shs80,000 in the ongoing Orumuri promotion “win with Orumuri,” reports Deus Ariyo Jimmy Sowedi’s winning ticket was picked and read out by a 12-year boy at Mpanga market. Other winners were, Florence Katumba from Kabale, Sanyu R, Birungi Mugarra, and Bonifance Sanyu all of Fort Portal town. The New Vision’s circulation manager, Mr. Tom Wasswa, handed the prizes to the winners. He congratulated them on their victory adding that ‘sharing the profits with the clients was The New vision’s policy.’ This bring the number of those winning bicycles to 15 in three weeks of the promotion. Sowedi said the bicycle was a big boost to his business. The Orumuri editor, Jossy Muhanga, said the paper’s priority is to create awareness.
